About the role
- Excellent opportunity to join growing neonatology division at Good Samaritan University Hospital.
- As a Neonatologist, you will play a crucial role in the care and management of high-risk newborns in our Level three (III) + Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with capabilities to provide high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide and total body cooling.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of neonatologists, nurses, and specialists to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct consultations for high-risk deliveries and manage infants requiring intensive care.
- Educate and support families regarding their newborn's condition and care plan.
- Excellent support of pediatric surgery and pediatric neurosurgery as well as all other pediatric subspecialties.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Neonatology fellowship.
- Board Certified or board-eligible in Neonatology.
- Active New York state medical license.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
