About the role
- Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom, online and/or laboratory settings, including grading.
- UW-Superior is not an E-Verify employer; therefore, it cannot employ individuals on the STEM OPT extension.
Responsibilities
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
- Facilitate laboratory instruction and assist with the instructional development for the course to support the delivery of quality instruction.
- Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction and assists with instructional development and design for a single course or series of courses within an academic discipline to support the delivery of quality instruction.
Requirements
- Evidence of ability to teach and work with students
- Candidates must be independently, legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain their work authorization without the support or help of UW-Superior throughout employment.

- Teach one to three laboratory sections of General Chemistry I, a required course for science majors.
- Complete required trainings and professional development as assigned.
- At least one semester of college laboratory teaching experience.
Compensation
- $43,500 full-time equivalent (FTE) annual salary based on a 9-month appointment.
- Actual salary will be prorated based on appointment percentage (20-60% FTE).
