About the role

  • Facilities Worker Facilities workers are the front-line for the overall maintenance and improvement of the physical grounds and buildings of Thousand Pines.
  • Wage: $19.00 per hour or above, depending on experience level.
  • Assisting with weather-related issues: snow removal, water damage, roofing issues, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to organize and maintain a clean work area

Requirements

  • Must be able to work some weekends and odd hours
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Skills

  • $19.00 per hour or above, depending on experience level.
  • Essential Functions
  • Repair and maintenance of camp vehicles, facilities, and property
  • Landscaping and groundskeeping
  • Safe operation of tractors and trucks
  • Safe operation of various minor equipment and tools
  • Additional Functions
  • Assisting other departments when facilities-related needs arise i.e. moving furniture, ladder work, heavier lifting, etc.
  • Using mechanized tools and equipment
  • Using manual tools and equipment
  • Lifting and carrying materials and supplies, ladders, hoses, tools, equipment, boxes, bed frames, etc.
