About the role
- This role is responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of core infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems, while driving a strong culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- This position will be based in Rockdale, TX.
Responsibilities
- Own the uptime, reliability, and maintenance of all critical facility infrastructure, including UPS systems, generators, HVAC equipment, building management systems (BMS), and fire/life safety systems.
- Lead, develop, and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and OEM service providers; oversee service level agreements (SLAs), budgets, and cross-functional coordination with IT, Security, and Construction teams.
- Maintain accurate asset management and maintenance records within the CMMS and ensure ongoing audit readiness and compliance with applicable standards and certifications, including SOC and ISO requirements.

Nice to have
- Experience in hyperscale or customer-facing environments.
- Familiarity with Uptime Institute/TIA-942 and NFPA 70E.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical/military training/trade school.
