About the role
- Amazon is looking for a customer focused, driven, and analytical leader to join the Canada Consumer Electronics team.
- Key areas of focus include driving improvement in inventory availability, increasing inventory efficiency, improving purchasing automation, and reducing input costs.
- The position requires an individual with strong analytical capabilities who can work both autonomously and collaboratively in a demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and effective prioritization.
Responsibilities
- Instock Manager will own strategies to drive supply chain efficiencies and maximize sales, margin, and turns.
- This is a critical role helping us build, manage, and optimize a complex procurement system-with a growing emphasis on re-imagining workflows for automation and leveraging Generative AI to increase productivity.
- The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment, while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.
- You will be responsible for driving large and unique programs, coordinating with partner teams on scalable improvements, and building optimal inventory strategies.
- Instock Manager will also be responsible for developing new tools and automated workflows, identifying defects, reducing waste, and improving supply chain effectiveness through data-driven innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- Experience with SQL.
- 5+ years of with Excel experience.
- Experience working with complex data sets.
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- They must be highly organized, self-starting, highly analytical, and thrive in a high-energy environment.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, Quick, OpenSearch, DynamoDB and Bedrock.
