About the role

- THE WORK: As a Senior Derivative Accountant on the Ripple Treasury Managed Services team, you serve as the subject matter expert on derivative instruments and hedging relationships across a portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end derivative accounting for interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, FX forwards, options, and commodity derivatives across multiple client portfolios.
- Lead audit support - preparation of work product and direct engagement with external auditors on derivative and hedge accounting matters.

Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with derivative instruments and hedge accounting - in public accounting, industry, or consulting environment.
- Experience with fair value measurement (ASC 820 / IFRS 13) and familiarity with derivative valuation methodologies.
Nice to have
- advanced degree in Accounting or Finance a plus.
- Experience with hedge accounting platforms (Ripple Treasury, Chatham Financial, Reval, FIS Quantum, or similar) preferred.
Skills

Compensation
- For positions that will be based in IL, the annual salary range for this position is below.
- IL Annual Base Salary Range
- $144,000 - $175,000 USD
