About the role

  • The Vault Manager is responsible for the overall functioning of the Precious Metals operation in Dallas, supervision of vault team and retention, employee training and development, safety programs and promotion of all corporate goals and objectives.
  • This position will work with the General Manager to ensure that all division and local customers are appropriately serviced at all times.
  • This position functions in an armed environment and requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of all on the premises of Brink's.

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in providing the leadership necessary to organize the market logistics and aggressively develop a product-driven organization.
  • Lead team to quickly adapt to change during times of transition, including marketplace shifts/product launches, and effectively uses all partnerships/resources to ensure the receiving, dispatching, organization and inventory management process and by extension all security processes, are never compromised.
  • Manage the day to day activities of the Vault Operational team.
  • Support, coach and provide leadership to Supervisors and Leads.
  • Drives employee productivity and develops recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage key performance indicators, including labor, quality, adherence to standard operating procedures and other business measurements.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirements
  • A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses

Nice to have

  • Experience in precious metals storage, freight forwarding/transportation or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Lean/Process Improvement methodologies
  • Audit and key control compliance skills.
