Responsibilities
- Support Front-End Loading (FEL) activities through site assessments, constructability reviews, temporary facility planning, and development of construction execution strategies.
- Collaborate with contractors and EH&S personnel to review hazard assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), and work methods to promote a zero-incident culture.
- Maintain construction records, site documentation, and regular communication with project leadership regarding risks, progress, schedule, and cost performance.
- Support project completion, turnover, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure systems and documentation meet project requirements.

Requirements
- Knowledge of construction quality requirements, inspection practices, and project execution processes.
- Ability to safely work in a plant environment, meet physical demands, work at elevated heights, and comfortably use PPE and safety equipment (including harnesses with a total maximum weight capacity of 300lbs).
- Must be familiar with or open to training on proper equipment usage.
- A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in Canada.
- Applies expert knowledge of civil construction methods, standards, and field practices to oversee contractor work and ensure successful project execution.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing civil construction activities and contractor execution.
- Ability to safely work in a plant environment, meet physical demands, work at elevated heights, and comfortably use PPE and safety equipment (including harnesses with a total maximum weight capacity of 300lbs). Must be familiar with or open to training on proper equipment usage.
- A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including any type of permanent residency support.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 10 years of relevant experience OR a relevant 2 year degree plus 5 years of relevant experience (e.g. supporting engineering and construction activities on large capital projects).
- Prior experience working on projects valued approximately between $20MM and $100MM is a plus.
