- This position provides legal service and advice to business units.
Responsibilities
- Counsels with substantial experience in areas of responsibility and is a legal advisor to business partners for employment related matters, with primary responsibility for counseling on employment matters.
- Ability to manage employment litigation, arbitration, and civil rights charges filed with the EEOC and state and local agencies.
- Shares responsibility for an area of the law and/or business unit support with others in practice group.
- Maintains knowledge of law in the area of practice and proactively identifies issues of concern for the company.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in legal practice advising on labor and employment matters, including employee civil rights matters.
- Proven success in managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- may perform other duties as assigned or required.
- With You (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school and Bar admission.
- Ability to manage multiple internal stakeholders and balance differing opinions and perspectives.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
