About the role
- The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of the mechanical equipment throughout the site using personal decision-making to insure minimal disruption to the production process.
- This department is scheduled to provide services to the entire facility 7 days a week.
- Call-ins are a requirement of this position.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Must be able to read and write and have competence in basic mathematics.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repair of the mechanical and equipment throughout the site.
- Knowledgeable in types and uses of valves and the ability to change/repair and align pumps.
- Experience in precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to repair equipment
