About the role
- The Lean Supervisor is responsible for driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and lean manufacturing initiatives across factory operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct statistical analysis of workshop OEE data and implement improvement measures to increase equipment efficiency and line performance.
- Establish and lead lean improvement project teams to promote employee-driven, proposal-based improvements.
- Assist in developing and maintaining standard work and lean documentation.
- Drive improvements in equipment efficiency and production flow.
- Train workshop employees on lean tools and methodologies to build continuous improvement culture.
- Support headquarters-led lean initiatives at the factory level.
- Mobilize employee participation, conduct evaluations, and support recognition/reward programs.
- Compile, revise, and maintain lean standard documents.
- Own and lead factory-wide 5S programs and sustainability.
- Lead on-site 5S initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
Requirements
- Required Skills & Competencies
- Experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence roles.
- Experience with OEE systems, performance analytics, and production metrics.
- Manufacturing experience in battery, EV, automotive, industrial, or high-volume production environments.
- Experience leading Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and CI initiatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- High learning agility and adaptability.
- Strong execution discipline and operational focus.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong team leadership and collaboration mindset.
