About the role

  • AcuTech has deep specialization in the oil and gas, chemical, LNG, petrochemical, renewables, hydrogen, and other industries handling hazardous materials.
  • You will join a highly respected team of PSM experts on higher level, fulfilling projects for many of the world's largest corporations in the exciting area of energy conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical projects involving process safety management for hydrogen systems.
  • Safety Instrument Systems specification and design.
  • Consultants will have a minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in process safety management, safety and environment (HSE), related experience in process or engineering design environment, manufacturing operations, and/or consulting environment.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, or managing PSM programs
  • Experience in developing, writing, and implementing PSM plans, procedures, design philosophies, design bases, engineering specifications, standard operating procedures
  • Experience developing and evaluating HSE management systems and advising management at all levels of the organization to effect positive change.
  • Ability to develop consulting business, including developing proposals and making presentations.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in related engineering field (chemical, electrical, mechanical, safety) or associated science degree.
  • Knowledge of Hydrogen energy and fuel cells product development, safety leadership, management, and engineering.
  • Experience working with major fuel cells
  • Recognized knowledge of safety integrity level (SIL) assessment, IEC61511/61508 standards.

  • Process Safety Management systems.
  • Process Hazards Analysis (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, and/or QRA).
  • Safety Instrument Systems.
