About the role
- Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Food Bank.
Responsibilities
- Support the sustainable growth of the food bank to meet the increasing demand in the student community.
Requirements
- Experience using online databases (e.g. Airtable) is considered an asset
- Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Experience communicating with small groups effectively.
- Track and order food and supplies as required, following assigned monthly budget.
- Currently registered Dalhousie University student.
- Excellent administration and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Has a good working knowledge of the requirements of health and safety.
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, customer service, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Driver's License considered an asset.
- Food Handler Certification is considered a strong asset.

- Support DSU annual member and volunteer surveys to discuss program satisfaction.
Benefits
