About the role
- ITnova is seeking a skilled Ground Support Equipment Mechanic to join our aviation maintenance team supporting mission-critical rotary-wing aircraft operations. This position is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of ground support equipment (GSE) used to support aircraft maintenance and flight line
- operations. The ideal candidate has experience maintaining mechanical and support equipment systems, is proficient in interpreting technical manuals and schematics, and is committed to ensuring safe, reliable, and mission-ready equipment availability in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Performs maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of ground support equipment (GSE) used in support of aircraft maintenance operations.
- Conducts preventive maintenance inspections on assigned support equipment to ensure operational readiness and availability.
- Performs troubleshooting, repair, preservation, and corrective maintenance of assigned GSE components and subsystems.
- Supports maintenance operations by providing reliable and serviceable equipment to work centers and flight line users.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years mechanical experience
- Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance drawings.
- Must have knowledge of maintenance tools, shop practices, and support equipment operations.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Must be able to meet any Government and company licensing or qualification requirements for the position, including operation of powered industrial equipment when required.
- Must be able to maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Must be able to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.
- A ble to pass a fit-for-work physical and/or drug test as required.
- Must be able to work in areas that require awkward posturing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and working overhead.
- Must be able to work at height in the hangar and on the flight line, as required.
