Responsibilities

  • Electrician carries out maintenance and repair work to electrical or/and mechanical installations or equipment (such as production machinery, rotating equipment, electrical installations, transport systems, buildings, facilities and constructions), so that technical assignments are carried out on time, safely and according to specifications to support the optimal running of production
  • Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components, test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance, maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
  • Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems, troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.

Requirements

  • Final candidates who are offered a position will be required to undergo a criminal background check and physical/drug testing (USA role only).
  • Background Check: Final candidates who are offered a position will be required to undergo a criminal background check and physical/drug testing (USA role only).
  • Must have completed Journeyman Electrcian Certification
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience with PLC systems, VFDs, industrial automation, and control systems is a strong asset.

Compensation

  • Statement: Compensation for roles at Nutreco varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, and level of experience.

  • The total annual production volume of feed is close to 2.5 million tonnes.
