About the role

  • We are looking for an experienced international trade and export control professional to join our Legal team.
  • You will be the first in-house dedicated trade compliance subject matter expert.
  • Applied Intuition is a dual-use technology company that sells products to commercial clients, to the U.S. military, and to its allies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company's Trade Compliance Policy and Technology Control Plans
  • Manage Restricted Party Screening processes
  • Lead trade compliance training across the company
  • Perform internal compliance assessments
  • The role is based in our headquarters office in Sunnyvale, CA, and you will support our dual-use Defense and Commercial business lines worldwide.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with import/export customs procedures (e.g., CBP forms) and coordinating with freight forwarders
  • Familiarity with international trade controls applicable to operations in the UK, Europe, and/or APAC
  • Experience in the aerospace or automotive industry
  • Experience at a large defense contractor, dual-use technology company, or at a consulting firm that services such companies
  • Security Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Compensation

  • at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits.
  • Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position.
  • For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this full-time position in the location listed is: $160,000 - $210,000 USD annually.
