About the role

  • This role will have a strong focus on shipside engineering execution and turn time metrics, both development and maintenance, as well as technical project and program management of a cross functional team execution.
  • Collaboration and strong communication with operations, other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), customer, and suppliers will be paramount to the success of this role.
  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Manages employees performing engineering support and technical activities.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
  • Manages, develops, and motivates both direct and indirect employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) or Equivalent technical degree
  • 3+ years of experience working cross functionally and/or managing external supplier relationships.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

  • Earned Value Management experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Compensation

  • $141,100 - 190,900

  • This role will have oversight and execution responsibilities for shipside support and both internal and external supplier integration on several work packages.
  • While partnering with the senior leader, this role will have opportunity for visibility with program and engineering leaders to support key milestones.
  • This role requires experience leading integrated teams to develop complex solutions.
