About the role

This role will have a strong focus on shipside engineering execution and turn time metrics, both development and maintenance, as well as technical project and program management of a cross functional team execution.
Collaboration and strong communication with operations, other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), customer, and suppliers will be paramount to the success of this role.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Manages employees performing engineering support and technical activities.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.
Manages, develops, and motivates both direct and indirect employees.

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences) or Equivalent technical degree
3+ years of experience working cross functionally and/or managing external supplier relationships.
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Metrics development and execution at senior leadership level.
Cross functional leadership experience.
Earned Value Management experience.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Interiors Shipside Manager to join the VC-25B program working on the interior of this iconic jet in San Antonio, TX.
This role will have oversight and execution responsibilities for shipside support and both internal and external supplier integration on several work packages.
While partnering with the senior leader, this role will have opportunity for visibility with program and engineering leaders to support key milestones.
This role requires experience leading integrated teams to develop complex solutions.
Strong foundational understanding of aircraft support including change management and supplier oversight is required.
