About the role
- Entegris is currently seeking a Chemical Operator II (Nights) to join our CVD/ Distillation Hall team.
- This position will be based in our Burnet facility.
- In this role, you will be responsible for the purification and maintenance of a variety set of products.
Responsibilities
- Accurately label and document each sample before submitting them to the laboratory for detailed analysis.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain distillation equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.
- Utilize SAP for production management: Use SAP software to manage the production schedule, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and according to plan.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the system to support production planning and reporting.
Requirements
- Experience with safe chemical handling.
- Knowledge of operating PLCs, valves, and pressure regulators.
- Familiarity with piping systems and reading P&IDs.
- Chemical Handling: Experience with safe chemical handling.
Nice to have
- High Diploma or GED required, associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or a related field is a plus.
- 2 +years of manufacturing experience
- distillation experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
- Manufacturing Experience: 2 +years of manufacturing experience
- Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management
