Responsibilities
- Orders and stocks anesthesia medications and supplies; maintain adequate records of receipt and issuance of supplies and equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains adequate level of volatile anesthesia gases.
Requirements
- License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.) issued by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians required with one year of hire.
Skills
- Knowledge of anesthesia methods and procedures in the operating room as it relates to supplies and equipment.
- Knowledge of basic inventory control.
