About the role
- Omidyar Network Associates play a critical role in our work and gain valuable experience and exposure across our programmatic areas.
- Associates gain meaningful, hands-on experience in the philanthropic sphere, while working with a collaborative, high-trust team.
- Our Associates join from a range of backgrounds, including policy and advocacy, venture capital, communications, consulting, nonprofits, and more.
Responsibilities
- We collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including investors, tech firms, policymakers, consumers and workers to guide tech's trajectory and establish coalitions and countervails in civil society.
- End-to-end execution, monitoring and support of grant lifecycle, including collating relevant materials for diligence and reporting, and tracking correspondence
- Partner with our Portfolio Insights and Engagement staff to improve existing grantmaking processes and apply learnings
- Maintain internal project management infrastructure to ensure robust knowledge management for assigned portfolio(s)
- Relationship Management and Partnerships Support
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for grantees, partners, and other external stakeholders

Requirements
- Candidates must have a current U.S. work authorization to be considered.
Compensation
- This is a three-year (3) fixed-term full-time, salaried position that features competitive pay and benefits, including health care (medical/dental/vision), paid time off, and a generous employer 401k contribution.
- The salary range for this role is $93,800 - $117,300 in San Francisco and $84,500 - $105,600 in Washington, DC.
- ON manages pay equity seriously and new hires generally start at the midpoint of this range.

- Support team leads with program management, including stakeholder management, learning discussions and meetings, and coordination.
- Passion for Omidyar Network's vision to bend the arc of the digital revolution toward shared power, prosperity, and possibility.
- Prior experience in tech policy, AI tech or governance, competition, labor and future of work, advocacy and campaigns, tech equity, privacy and safety, a plus.
