About the role
- Timmons Group is currently seeking a Landscape Designer I or II in our Charlottesville, VA office.
- Candidates are expected to work in the office up to four days per week, with flexibility in scheduling those days based on project needs and team coordination.

Responsibilities
- Our studio strives to create dynamic places that achieve timeless appeal and are tailored to our clients' goals and the communities we serve.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members on a variety of project types and scales.
- Assist project teams with development of landscape plans through all phases of work including site inventory, concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Prepare illustrative design plans and 3D renderings as needed.
- Attend monthly design team meetings and act as a design resource for projects and department standards.

Requirements
- Experience in producing high-quality concept drawings and presentations.
- Experience in producing construction documentation drawings.
- Experience in construction administration and field work.
- The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program is preferred but a non-accredited degree in landscape architecture may be considered.
- New graduates or professionals with up to 2 years' experience in landscape architecture for Landscape Designer I is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in landscape architecture for Landscape Designer II is preferred.
Compensation
- Our best estimate of the salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000.
