About the role

  • As a Supervisor, Shipping (3rd Shift), you will play a pivotal role in our hyper-growth, highly regulated 503A/503B environment.
  • Owning the entire shipping process, you will ensure that AI acts as a force multiplier to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data analytics to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive strategic changes for optimal operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality control measures, utilizing AI to ensure precision and accuracy in shipping operations.
  • Develop and enforce stringent quality standards to minimize errors and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processes and ensure consistent adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Drive effective coordination and communication across teams to meet shipping deadlines and exceed performance targets.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to drive accountability and motivate team members to achieve strategic goals.
  • AI Implementation: Lead the integration of AI technologies within the shipping department to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure alignment and support for technology initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to leverage data for informed decision-making, predictive analysis, and risk management.
  • Lead initiatives to pilot and implement cutting-edge solutions that drive competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
  • Employees are regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of implementing AI-driven solutions in shipping operations.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in a 503A/503B environment.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds comfortably.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve strategic goals.

Nice to have

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping or logistics, with supervisory experience preferred.
