About the role
- SUMMARY The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting in the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome for several concurrent projects, from pre-construction to closeouts.
- Assist with reviewing drawings for questions or changes to be submitted via RFI.
- Review RFI's received from vendors and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Maintain liaison with prime client and A/E to facilitate construction activities.
- Manage subcontractor activities including associated costs, schedule, and related change orders.
- Assist with managing financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the client.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and negotiate effectively with team members, customers, consultants, vendors, and partners.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a project manager, preferably in electrical construction.
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience as a project manager, preferably in electrical construction.
- Knowledge of construction technology, cost management, scheduling, equipment, and methods required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering or other related discipline preferred
- or equivalent experience.

Compensation
- $80,000 - $100,000 annual salary DOE
- Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of construction technology, cost management, scheduling, equipment, and methods required.
- Advanced abilities in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of the NFPA/NEC codes.
- Extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedure.
