About the role

Come and join our rapidly growing Customer Success Engineering team!
As a Solutions Architect, you will help us ensure the success of Redpanda customers.
This could range from running workshops with customers to getting them up and running on Redpanda products, and/or helping to architect a full end-to-end data streaming system with Redpanda as the core solution.

Responsibilities

Design and implement production-ready streaming architectures that solve customer business problems and meet their performance, reliability, and scalability requirements
Partner with Redpanda product management, engineering, and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve customer experience
An Understanding of the fundamentals of high availability and disaster recovery and are able to design HA/DR solutions to meet customer needs and constraints
Outstanding consulting skills, able to easily context switch between internal teams and customers, from code to whiteboard, from support to engineering
Comfortable developing/prototyping solutions in many different languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, and Javascript)
Strong ability to build relationships with our partners, customers, and open-source users

Requirements

Experience with creating blog content and/or documentation on the production use cases and solutions
Knowledge of different cloud vendors ( AWS, GCP and Azure)

Nice to have

Experience with Kubernetes or Ansible a plus

Skills

7+ years of prior experience in a customer facing role working hands on with distributed systems technologies similar to Redpanda
Passion for working on complex technical problems and have a strong understanding of modern data infrastructures and streaming technologies

As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary.

Benefits

U.S. base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $206,000, not including bonus and/or commission.
