About the role

Position: Maintenance Technician I Shift: 2nd shift Tuesday-Friday 12:00pm-8:30pm, Saturday 6am-2:30pm With OT when needed.
This role reports to the maintenance manager.

Responsibilities

Maintain current GMP, SQF, Food Safety practices.
The primary role of the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is to provide competent & effective Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance support to the Plant and Facility operations in a SAFE manner.

Requirements

Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift if required and flexibility to work overtime and weekends on business need requirements.
A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.

Must be able to work safely with electricity and have experience with single and 3 phase circuits.
Working with 480V is required as well.
Must be able to read and use blueprints, schematics, maintenance manuals, required tools, and various types of standard testing equipment with the ability to fabricate metal to some acceptable level.
Must be able to maintain equipment in accordance with diagrams and manufacturer's specifications while following preventative maintenance, work orders and scheduled PM's in a CMMS program.
Be able to use Lathes, mills, bandsaw, drill press, etc. as required to repair parts or fabricate parts as needed.

Ability to read and interpret quality documents, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Nice to have

3+ years of experience working as an experienced level Industrial Production Mechanic, Food production a plus.

Compensation

$30.75hr, + Shift differential of $1.50 Per hour,

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Maintain a clean and efficient parts inventory while notifying of stock depletion for reorder in CMMS.
The position will require a flexible schedule focusing on preventive maintenance and production support.
