Responsibilities
- Own your self-development. Prepare, follow-up and execute on your personal development goals.
- Build healthy cross-functional relationship and work environment, promote team spirit and cohesiveness in the team, department and corridor.
- Perform consistently at the highest level (Product OPA Audit Result).
- Manage all Bond renewals. Notify Brokerage team of any upcoming renewals and follow up on responses.
- The Compliance Support Specialist proactively assists in enforcing Expeditors brokerage operational import standards, policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Report audit findings to Brokerage team and ensure required backup is uploaded to e.doc.
- All written requests and email verbiage to US Customs and Centers of Excellence and Expertise are expected to be professionally documented and timely executed.
- Manage Documents Required (upload via DIS).
Nice to have
- 3+ years' experience in import brokerage
- Import Clearance Specialist Certifications, preferred
- Customs Broker license (U.S.) or similar non-U.S. country license, preferred.
- Familiar with Expeditors' system (CFIT) and required tools.
- Customer Satisfaction oriented
- Interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels written and oral communication, presentations.
- Ability to relate and influence employees at all levels.
- Ability to communicate with government agencies.
Compensation
- Complete 52 hours training per year (4.33 per month) and all mandatory training timely.
