About the role

  • This position is fully based in Montreal.
  • The role focuses on ensuring functional safety and system robustness for advanced vehicle subsystems (ADAS, E/E architecture, actuators, sensors).

Responsibilities

  • Support system design verification and validation activities to ensure safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with s oftware, electrical and vehicle subsystem teams to integrate safety requirements.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation: requirements, hazard analyses, verification evidence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with functional safety in automotive systems (ISO 26262, ISO 21448).
  • Familiarity with ADAS or advanced vehicle subsystems.
  • Practical knowledge of FMEA, STPA, or SOTIF methods.
