About the role

- Primary Responsibilities/Essential Duties Coordinate hangar inspection process with tenants and Airport Fire Inspectors; minimize inconvenience and maximize productivity of process through organization and detailed inspection protocols.
Responsibilities
- Under general direction, performs a wide variety of highly responsible administrative functions, ranging from moderately difficult to complex, in support of the Reno-Stead General Aviation Airport.
- Draft and deploy Notice to Airmen (NOTAMS), airfield condition reports in order to maintain safe conditions on the airfield as well as update the AWOS (Automated Weather Observation System).
- Maintain and administer the security card/gate access program.
- Assist Airport Staff with tracking and information needed to maintain environmental compliance throughout the property.
- Maintain and update the calendar of events for the public-facing website.
- Serve as liaison to building managers, owners, and contractors to maintain and coordinate general maintenance, building environments, building security alarm and phone systems, codes and passes.
- Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience providing administrative support to a high-level official, executive, and/or senior manager.
Requirements

- Incumbents have a moderate degree of latitude in choosing the manner in which to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Required Licensing and/or Certifications Possession of a valid Nevada Driver's License; ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to hold a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
- Registration as a Nevada Notary Public required within first 12 months of employment.
- Must be able to communicate clearly verbally and written in English to customers and coworkers, and in person via telephone and on radios.
- Must have the ability to traverse as needed within the Terminal buildings.

Compensation
- $31.37 - $36.54 hourly based on experience, with opportunity for annual step-based increases up to a maximum of $41.72.
- Initial salary placement will be based upon experience and qualifications.
- This is an hourly position and is eligible for overtime.
- Provide support for the organization, scheduling and coordinating of special events, projects, activities, and annual safety inspections.
