About the role
- You will transform a deep archive of episodic content into engaging clips and compilations, editing videos with motion graphics, subtitles, and other creative elements to maximize audience retention.
- The role requires operating at pace, publishing high volumes of content and reacting quickly to trends and audience behavior to keep the portfolio culturally relevant.
- Using performance data and platform analytics, the associate will continuously refine content and formats, contributing to revenue growth while maintaining NBCUniversal's editorial, creative, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Use and generate briefs to creatively interpret and deliver on budgetary aims.
- Deliver video thumbnails, channel banners, animated gifs and endcards.
- Regularly contribute to discussions regarding channel success, offering ideas for building audiences and revenue.
- Manage workflow and scheduling via Airtable.
- Ability to create clips and compilations from master files with at least intermediate-level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Requirements
- Degree in creative arts and design, graphic design, digital media and creative computing or similar.
- Strong creative flair and originality with the ability to operate at volume in a commercial division.
- Proven track-record in generating instantly arresting content at speed in a high-output team.
- Openness to feedback and the ability to work creatively and collaboratively within a growing, entrepreneurial unit.
- As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
Compensation
- $75,000 - $85,000
