About the role

- You will report directly to the Senior Product Manager, and work closely with engineering, UX designers, and QA - with regular exposure to the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Product Officer as you take on more ownership.
- You'll need to be able to toggle between deep detail (e.g. user experience flows, payment flows, technical documentation) while keeping the broader business strategy and product direction in mind.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end release of new product features
- Help gather user feedback, document requirements, and support the creation of product specs and wireframes
- Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure clear communication of requirements and timelines
- Support QA and testing efforts to ensure high-quality product releases
- Support customer discovery efforts by documenting insights and suggesting potential product refinements
- You will own execution for parts of Boom's products, working closely with the Senior Product Manager to help shape the roadmap and drive day-to-day delivery.
- A collaborative attitude and ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and operations
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience, ideally with some in a product or adjacent role (e.g. operations, analytics, project management, data analytics)
- Self-directed and ability to operate amidst ambiguity
- Familiarity with Figma, Jira, and Posthog
- Ability to utilize SQL for creating queries
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts such as APIs, databases, and relationship between frontend and backend development.
