About the role

  • The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, scheduling, and delivering training programs to clinical staff to ensure they meet competency standards to expertly perform their work in a multi-specialty medical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and deliver a training program for new and existing clinical staff. This will include general procedure and specialty training.
  • Develop, implement, and deliver a training program for Patient Care Technicians to gain skills, knowledge and abilities so they may successfully transition to Clinical Assistants once specific licensure is obtained.
  • Deliver the training and/or schedule external trainers, and document participant records.

Requirements

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Must be HIPAA compliant.
  • Three (3) years of experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties required.
  • Excellent writing, communication, public speaking, and customer service skills required.

  • Develop and facilitate OSHA training procedures for new and tenured staff to ensure ongoing compliance with medical practice requirements.
  • Create and implement an in-service continuing education schedule for clinical staff.
  • Two (2) years of adult instructional experience through job or education, preferably in a health care environment required.
  • Working knowledge of multi-specialty office operations, workflows, and experience with utilizing an electronic health record required.
