About the role
- The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, scheduling, and delivering training programs to clinical staff to ensure they meet competency standards to expertly perform their work in a multi-specialty medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and deliver a training program for new and existing clinical staff. This will include general procedure and specialty training.
- Develop, implement, and deliver a training program for Patient Care Technicians to gain skills, knowledge and abilities so they may successfully transition to Clinical Assistants once specific licensure is obtained.
- Deliver the training and/or schedule external trainers, and document participant records.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Must be HIPAA compliant.
- Three (3) years of experience with applicable patient care and administrative duties required.
- Excellent writing, communication, public speaking, and customer service skills required.

- Collaborates with medical providers and unit management in the planning, implementation and delivery of educational curricula.
- Develop and facilitate OSHA training procedures for new and tenured staff to ensure ongoing compliance with medical practice requirements.
- Create and implement an in-service continuing education schedule for clinical staff.
- Two (2) years of adult instructional experience through job or education, preferably in a health care environment required.
- Working knowledge of multi-specialty office operations, workflows, and experience with utilizing an electronic health record required.
