About the role

  • Job Profile: Arts Programming Assistant 1 Non-Exempt Job Family: Arts Programming Time Type: PRN Max Pay - Depends on experience: $20.00 USD Hourly Apply before 11:59 PM Arizona time the day before the posted End Date.
  • This position reports to the Production Managers and is part time, hourly and requires a flexible work schedule to accommodate events.
  • Ideal candidates will have some hours available during the day during the week as well as nights weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support for basic arts programming activities, such as scheduling events and coordinating with artists and volunteers.
  • Maintain theatrical equipment
  • Perform other related duties as needed

Requirements

  • General knowledge of technical theatre and backstage working environment
  • Good knowledge of the area surrounding the ASU Tempe campus.
  • Comfortable working on high ladders, ceiling grid system and balcony rail.
  • Drive on university business and possess a valid US driver license upon employment.
  • Set up and take down of lighting, audio, and/or video equipment
  • Running/Operating of lighting, audio and/or video equipment and software

Compensation

  • This position reports to the Production Managers and is part time, hourly and requires a flexible work schedule to accommodate events.
  • $20.00 per hour
