About the role
- Ventura Coastal's primary products are customized blends of orange, lemon, and grapefruit juices, oils, essences, and pulp.
- In addition, we sell our products to a majority of very large branded beverage manufacturers.
- From our founding in 1940, Ventura Coastal expanded from a packer of locally grown fruit into one of the largest wholesale processors of citrus juice in the western United States.
Responsibilities
- Able to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
- Provide various types of training to both salaried and hourly employees to help build employee capability.
- Assist management and employees in resolving conflicts, work related questions or issues in an effort to maintain positive employee relations and a union-free environment.
- Champion various employee engagement activities through employee relations activities, support of local community events and seasonal kick off activities to reinforce positive employee relations.
- Establish, maintain, and improve communication with all operations employees
Requirements
- Must also possess human relations and conflict resolution skills and must be an excellent communicator at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration or closely related field.
- All Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees must be aware of CCPs in their area and how to document them appropriately.
- Perform other duties as assigned and required.
