About the role
- The role of Staff Marketing Programs Manager is responsible for advancing the use of next-generation sequencing (NGS) in specific markets that Illumina serves.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of professional and/or educational experience in next generation sequencing as well as experience in multi-channel and integrated marketing communications development and execution.
- Candidates should also have demonstrated experience working cross-functionally in a large matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
- Brainstorm, develop and execute meaningful and measurable regional multi-channel marketing plans in conjunction with global and sub-regional field marketing to drive pipeline acceleration and impact near-term revenue
- Manage the concurrent execution of a variety of marketing tactics within a given program and ensure linkage of tactics to overall segment strategy
- Report and monitor campaign performance (KPI's) and implement improvements in order to optimize campaign return on investment (ROI), and improve business impact
- Maintain and oversee campaign budget for respective areas of the business
- this includes ensuring 95-100% of quarterly allocation is spent on Marketing Programs to drive near and long-term revenue goals

Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
- or 6 years and a Master's degree
- Proven track record and experience in leading campaign development and execution
- Sales experience, research experience in a life science discipline, genomics experience, or hands-on sequencing experience, also highly desirable
Compensation
- Participate in quarterly and annual planning and review cycles
- The estimated base salary range for the Staff Marketing Programs Manager role based in the United States of America is: $118,200 - $177,200.
- Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly.
