About the role

  • Institute for Advancing Health through Agriculture-Project Management
  • The student technician provides hands-on assistance in assisting researchers on multidisciplinary projects located at Texas A&M Institute for Preclinical Studies.

Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift or move light, moderate, and heavy objects.
  • Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to perform both technical and routine tasks.
  • Required Education and Experience:
  • Ability to follow instructions, work with minimal instruction, and manage time effectively.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Requires working evening, night and weekend hours.

Nice to have

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student at Texas A&M University.
  • Major in Biology, Animal Science, Nutrition, Biomedical Sciences, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous animal experience is a plus but not required - training will be provided.
