About the role

  • This role provides both technical leadership and resource management while driving strategy across enterprise networking, unified communications (Cisco Voice, Microsoft Teams), and contact center platforms (Genesys).
  • This position will ensure a secure, scalable, and high-performing network environment while aligning technology initiatives with business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • While this role does not have direct people management responsibilities, the Network & Telecom Services Lead will mentor and develop a team of network and telecom engineers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • There may be opportunity for this role to directly manage people in the future.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Business teams to drive innovation and service excellence
  • Manage vendor relationships, including MSPs, telecom carriers, and technology providers
  • Develop and manage budgets, capacity plans, and technology roadmaps
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of WAN, LAN, and data center networks
  • Lead implementation of modern architectures (SD-WAN, Zero Trust, cloud networking)
  • Drive network standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 15+ years of experience in network engineering
  • Proven experience managing enterprise-scale network and telecom environments
  • Strong experience in vendor, project, and stakeholder management
  • Technical Expertise
  • 3+ years in a leadership role

Compensation

  • At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
  • The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
  • Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
  • $187,300 - $228,900
