About the role
- The Patient Access Specialist II in Oncology is a Scheduler Role.
- This position will answer all phone calls and assist patients with making appointments for all clinic and treatment visits.
- The Oncology Scheduler is responsible for ensuring patients are discharged from the each visit with the appropriate labs, referrals, tests and all other procedures ordered by the providers.
Requirements
- This position must be able to interact with patients face to face in a busy office setting.
- The Oncology Scheduler must be able to accurately schedule patients in a fast paced environment.
- Outstanding customer service and patient experience skills are required.
