Responsibilities
- Instructional Support Assists the teacher by monitoring and supporting instructional and/or other classroom-based activities for students as prompted by an in-person or virtual teacher.
- Serves as an Instructional Support (substitute teacher) for up to an entire day of instruction, at a minimum, a class period, or may serve as a long-term substitute.
- Maintains a controlled environment for students and staff in the school building and campus.
- Participates in meetings to share information regarding student progress and opportunities for support.
- Supports all other duties as assigned.
- Administrative Support Provides clerical and organizational support to the Assistant Principal of Instruction.
- Helps organize schedules, meetings, and communications related to student support systems and school-wide initiatives.
- Assists with data entry and maintenance of Instructional and Academic support systems.
- Supports coordination of school-wide events, meetings, and initiatives led by the Assistant Principal(s).
- Serves as a point of communication support between administration, teachers, and support staff to ensure consistent implementation of school policies and procedures.
