About the role

  • Located at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, the JNWC is the DOD's Center of Excellence for Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) and PNT capabilities integration.
  • Your work will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of NAVWAR operations across all domains and military operations.

Responsibilities

  • You shall schedule and coordinate customer deskside support for the installation of new software or to perform hardware or software break/fix activities.
  • You shall execute and maintain IT infrastructure inventory information, completing regularly scheduled inventories of all IT cabinets and IT cabinet equipment, updating pictures, drawings, and asset information.
  • You will oversee technical support for end-user devices and hardware (laptops, printers, tablets, mobile devices) and peripherals, software (COTS, GOTS, Web), network infrastructure (routers, switches, etc.), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), audiovisual display systems, duress alarms, analog, and wireless technologies.
  • You shall recommend customer service and IT process support enhancements by researching and recommending new technologies and processes.

Requirements

  • Information Assurance Level Technician experience in a large government consulting environment
  • You shall set up and run diagnostic tests, react appropriately to messages, and report errors or machine malfunctions as required.

  • There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
