About the role
- Under the leadership of the Department Director and Assistant Director, the Clinical Nurse Supervisor assists with planning, supervising, assessing, and providing nursing care in accordance with the hospital and department policies and procedures.
- This role includes staying informed and actively participating in productivity, quality outcome measures, patient experience, and employee performance.
- The Clinical Nurse Supervisor ensures that department staff work within the nursing scope of practice as defined by the California Board of Registered Nursing or other applicable licensing bodies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with standards, policies and procedures
- Lead process and performance improvements within the department
- Achieve and maintain a consistent and positive patient and employee experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field required.
- State of California RN license required.
- Must have charge nurse or equivalent leadership/supervisor experience.
Compensation
- Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $5.50
- Hourly Night Shift Differential: $8.00
