About the role
- We're hiring an IT Systems Engineer to help us improve the way our tools, systems, and processes work together.
- This role is hands-on and technical, with a focus on automation, integrations, and cleaning up some of the complexity that's built up as we've grown.
- Over time, we're looking for someone who can help bring more structure and long-term thinking to how our team operates.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automation workflows across core IT systems
- Lead tool consolidation and SaaS lifecycle improvements
- Own and improve vendor management processes including procurement, renewals, intake, and documentation
- Partner with Security, Compliance, and People Operations on cross-functional workflow optimization
- Build and maintain integrations between systems such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, MDM, and ITSM
- Help shift IT from reactive support to a proactive, strategic partner
- Hands-on: Willing to roll up your sleeves and build, implement, and maintain critical systems
- Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Skills
- Technically strong:
- Fluent in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.), APIs, and automation platforms like Workato or Zapier
- Process and project-oriented:
- Skilled at designing and implementing scalable systems
- AI and Automation Expertise:
- Able to leverage generative AI tools to improve IT workflows and automation
- Cross-functional communicator:
- Comfortable collaborating with other teams and and other stakeholders
- Proactive and strategic:
- Able to focus on immediate needs while aligning with long-term IT goals
- Documentation-forward:
- Values clarity and scales knowledge effectively within the team
Compensation
- The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role.
- The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $116,000.00 - $174,000.00.
