About the role
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements to increase system reliability and efficiency.
- Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 15%).
Responsibilities
- The Software Engineer III - Aftermarket Support is responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing software solutions deployed in customer environments.
- The engineer follows established coding standards, software development best practices, and technical design principles while providing high-quality support for mission-critical material handling systems.
- Provide advanced technical support for deployed warehouse automation and material handling software systems.
- Analyze customer-reported problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions.
- Develop software enhancements, patches, and maintenance releases for existing applications.
- Collaborate with Controls Engineers, Field Service Engineers, Project Engineers, and Customer Support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Support software upgrades, system migrations, and customer change requests.
- Mentor junior software engineers and provide technical guidance on support-related activities.
Requirements
- Participate in on-call or after-hours support activities as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience using Microsoft.NET technologies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues in production environments.
