About the role

  • Monitor application performance and recommend improvements to increase system reliability and efficiency.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed (up to 15%).

Responsibilities

  • The Software Engineer III - Aftermarket Support is responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing software solutions deployed in customer environments.
  • The engineer follows established coding standards, software development best practices, and technical design principles while providing high-quality support for mission-critical material handling systems.
  • Provide advanced technical support for deployed warehouse automation and material handling software systems.
  • Analyze customer-reported problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions.
  • Develop software enhancements, patches, and maintenance releases for existing applications.
  • Collaborate with Controls Engineers, Field Service Engineers, Project Engineers, and Customer Support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Support software upgrades, system migrations, and customer change requests.
  • Mentor junior software engineers and provide technical guidance on support-related activities.

Requirements

  • Participate in on-call or after-hours support activities as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience using Microsoft.NET technologies.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues in production environments.
