About the role
- This role will focus on executing a secure lift-and-shift migration of a complex SQL Server-based application with numerous interconnected system dependencies.
- This individual will work in an Agile team environment and contribute to documentation, implementation, and operational sustainment efforts
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or related infrastructure roles
- Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud
- Experience in managing Windows Server environments
- Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, strong troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of secure cloud environments support federal/government workloads.
Nice to have
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional)
- Experience supporting government cloud environments
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with configuration management tools
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST)
- Experience migrating on-premises workloads to cloud environments (lift-and-shift preferred)
Compensation
- $125k-$145k
