About the role

This position is based at the Cal Poly Maritime Academy on the Cal Poly Solano Campus in Vallejo, CA.

Professional instructor certification in related field or prior training required.
Extensive knowledge of classes being taught.
Ability to be highly organized and have good planning skills.
Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED is required within 30 days of hire, training provided by ASI.
Understanding of current trends in area of expertise.
Previous experience in supervising and meeting participants in an instructional environment.
Ability to learn new formats.

$18.00 per hour - 32.00 per hour for instruction time, $16.90 per hour - $16.90 per hour for meeting and prep time.
Benefits Social Security (FICA) Unemployment Insurance Workers Compensation Insurance Sick Leave **Intermittent employees may not work more than 1,000 hours during any fiscal year (7/1-6/30) and are hired on an "as needed" basis only.
$18.00 per hour - $32.00 per hour based on experience for instruction time, $16.90 per hour for meeting and prep time.

Position may require early morning, late night, weekend, and holiday work availability.
