About the role

  • Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.

Requirements

  • Required Licenses/Certifications
  • Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills

Nice to have

  • Shift Differentials apply in addition for evening and weekends
  • Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
  • Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
  • One (1) year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or One (1) year of Urgent Care setting experience required.
  • Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
  • National Certification
  • Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting preferred
  • Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, casting etc.
