About the role

  • We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with 7-10 years of professional experience to join our Messaging Team as a contractor.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a particular emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Node.js, React, backend APIs, and Java technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services using modern technologies and frameworks, with a focus on React for front-end development and Node.js/Java/Spring for back-end services.
  • API Development: Create and manage robust RESTful APIs to support messaging functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
  • Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas and queries for relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Testing and Debugging: Implement automated testing and debugging processes to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
  • Deployment and Monitoring: Manage deployment processes on Google Cloud Platform and monitor application performance in production environments.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
