About the role

  • Code Quality and Security: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding and security standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services using modern technologies and frameworks, with a focus on React for front-end development and Node.js/Java/Spring for back-end services.
  • API Development: Create and manage robust RESTful APIs to support messaging functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services.
  • Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas and queries for relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Testing and Debugging: Implement automated testing and debugging processes to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
  • Deployment and Monitoring: Manage deployment processes on Google Cloud Platform and monitor application performance in production environments.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

  • Experience with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture on Google Cloud Platform.

Skills

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) for application deployment and management.
  • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and technologies.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
