Responsibilities

  • Validate as-built conditions and ensure accurate data capture for the client's GIS and asset management systems.
  • Conduct field walkdowns, review access routes, identify obstructions, and support resolution of field issues.
  • Support outage coordination, sequencing, and field readiness activities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in transmission, distribution, construction supervision, or utility field operations.
  • Hands-on experience with GIS platforms or survey data capture tools.
  • Ability to verify field conditions and align them with engineering and GIS requirements.
  • Ability to walk right of way, navigate terrain, and travel daily across the corridor.
  • Maryland (Field Based, daily travel required)
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly in the field with survey crews and contractors.
  • Valid driver license.

Nice to have

  • Background as a lineman, construction supervisor, field inspector, or utility owner representative is preferred.

Compensation

  • The hourly rate range for this role is $55 - $80 per hour. This range represents a good-faith estimate at the time of posting
  • actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, assignment requirements, schedule, and other factors permitted by law.
  • In addition to base compensation, the role includes eligibility for applicable overtime, a comprehensive benefits package, and a company 401(k) match.
