  • COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its Tax Compliance team.
  • This position provides exposure to various business operations, direct interaction with taxing authorities, and opportunities to provide tax insight on business transactions and strategic initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to continuously improve processes.

Requirements

  • Prepares, reviews, and/or coordinates with third party vendor to ensure proper filing of state & municipal insurance premium tax returns according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations by required deadlines.
  • Prepares or coordinates the completion of state and local sales/use tax returns for the various companies according to prescribed rates, laws, and regulations by required deadlines.

  • The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired.
  • Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
  • $64,800-$89,100
  • Incentive Pay:
  • In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
