About the role
- At Mattel, our partnerships with our retail customers are critical to delivering the brands kids and families love.
- Based in Bentonville, AR, you'll have the opportunity to influence key business decisions, solve complex planning challenges, and help shape the future of one of Mattel's largest customer businesses.
- Oversee execution of Mattel's Direct Import business from Asia, partnering closely with Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operational performance.
Responsibilities
- We create innovative products and experiences that inspire fans, entertain audiences and develop children through play.

- Lead forecasting and analytical efforts that improve item-level POS projections, inventory planning, and order recommendations across your assigned Walmart categories.
- Own category forecast submissions, balancing customer demand with open-to-buy constraints while ensuring forecast accuracy and business alignment.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Supply Chain to improve order execution, maximize fill rates, and strengthen operational collaboration between Mattel and Walmart.
- Collaborate directly with Walmart Buyers and Replenishment Managers, presenting business trends, forecasting insights, and strategic recommendations that support mutual growth.
- Transform large, complex data sets into actionable insights that influence planning decisions, improve operational efficiencies, and support long-term business success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or another related field.
- Experience working with large data sets, synthesizing information from multiple sources, and presenting clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Familiarity with forecasting and planning tools such as JDA, Anaplan, Demantra, or similar platforms.
- Self-motivated with a track record of delivering results independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Nice to have
- 4+ years of experience in a retailer-facing role, with Walmart experience strongly preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in inventory management, demand planning, forecasting, or a related supply chain discipline
- consumer products experience is a plus.
