About the role

  • The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on airport facilities and equipment.
  • This position involves monitoring, inspecting, and troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as well as reporting any issues that arise.
  • This role is critical in supporting smooth airport operations by identifying and resolving electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing faulty equipment through observation and testing to maintain optimal performance.
  • Performing related tasks as needed to support overall facility operations.
  • They should demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and conveyor equipment, and be comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints to support maintenance activities.
  • Additionally, they should be proficient in the use of hand and power tools and able to build and maintain positive working relationships in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in facility maintenance or mechanical repair
  • Hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical work (less than 1 year required).
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a long-term basis.
